About the Distance Learning and
Educational Technologies e-Book Collection
For years, teachers have dabbled with the incorporation of technology into the classroom for teaching and learning purposes. However, until the COVID-19 pandemic, these practices were exploratory, with not much traction made in their implementation for everyday use. It was not until schools were forced to abruptly switch to remote learning that the full benefits of technology integration were realized, along with its many challenges. Implementation strategies, teacher preparation, student engagement, and accessibility issues are just a few of the problems teachers need to overcome in order to successfully utilize educational technologies and transition to distance learning. To ensure educators have the best possible resources available to assist them as they navigate this online education journey, past and present research must be collected and examined to provide a holistic view.
IGI Global is committed to providing easy access to a plethora of titles relating to distance education to support educators, administrators, institutions, and librarians as they face the difficult task of managing online learning.
