Intern Positions
IGI Global is seeking motivated and energetic individuals to work as part-time (flexible hours, no more than 20 hours per week) interns for multiple departments within our company.
Qualified candidates should have high attention to detail, be able to meet established deadlines, and work well independently. All interns will need to possess excellent written and verbal skills.
We welcome experience in the following areas: copy editing and proofreading, online research, data mining, human resource management, public relations, marketing, graphic design, programming, accounting and finance, and project management.
Education Required: Earned (or in the process) bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Accounting, Business Administration, Communications and Journalism, Computer Science, English, Graphic Design, Marketing, or related areas is required.
Marketing Assistant
IGI Global is seeking a motivated individual with a desire to grow professionally and work with leading researchers and academics from around the world. This full-time (40 hours per week) position within the Marketing Department at the company’s Hershey office serves as a foundation for enhancing communication, business, editorial, computer, and technical skills and experience while working in a welcoming team environment.
The Marketing Assistant supports promotional content development, - blog writing, digital marketing campaigns, press release writing, social media campaigns, catalog development, brochure development, among other areas.
Qualified candidates should possess a minimum of 2+ years of marketing, public relations, and/or communications experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as a high attention to detail with the ability to multitask, meet established deadlines, and work well independently. Experience with Microsoft Office is required. While experience in publishing, copy editing, and online research is a plus, it is not mandatory. This role requires someone who is organized, agile, creative, innovative, and adaptable, as it offers tremendous potential for growth and upward mobility within the company.
Required education: Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications or journalism or public relations or business, or related areas.
