About the Religious and Indigenous Studies e-Book Collection
Religion and spirituality have been meaningful parts of human society since the beginning of life. In most societies, religion and culture go hand in hand—even for those who are not spiritual, their lives, cultures, and communities are impacted by religion and spirituality. The practices learned from religion and Indigenous cultures can be applied to many different subject areas, from business operations to education. Unfortunately, discrimination and exclusionary policies are still being made across the globe against people of specific religions and Indigenous peoples. It is not only essential that we explore the ways in which religious and Indigenous practices can be used to better society, but also to study the ways in which people are treated to create a more inclusive and accepting society.
In order to showcase the very importance of religious and Indigenous studies, IGI Global is pleased to offer the Religious and Indigenous Studies e-Book Collection. Consisting of 65+ titles that contain exceptional research by premier editors and authors who are actively working to shed light on the ways in which spirituality can be used to improve society and address current injustices against religion and Indigenous peoples, the titles within this collection deal with topics that include Islamic finance, religious tourism, religious organizations, Indigenous knowledge systems, and more.
