Introduction

In recent years, there has been a growing recognition of the crucial role that social entrepreneurship plays in addressing the unique challenges faced by rural communities around the world. The intersection of social innovation and entrepreneurship in rural areas has the potential to not only stimulate economic development but also foster social inclusion and environmental sustainability. As such, the emergence of rural social entrepreneurship has become a focal point for researchers and practitioners seeking to understand and harness the transformative power of entrepreneurial activities in rural contexts. This edited volume, titled "Rural Social Entrepreneurship Development: Network-Based Manufacturing System Model," brings together a collection of scholarly contributions that explore the evolving landscape of rural social entrepreneurship, with a specific focus on the implementation of network-based manufacturing system models. Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before July 7, 2024, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by July 21, 2024 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines.Full chapters are expected to be submitted by October 20, 2024, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at https://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-anonymized review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.
