Introduction

The Book intends to explore the emerging technologies and leadership intersection. Emerging technologies, such as robots, artificial intelligence, internet of things and machine learnings, etc., are advancing at an exponential pace. These advances added with technology driven data collection, research problem analysis, and business decision making through data analytics is bringing a paradigm shift in leadership functioning with newer capacity to connect, automate and augment practically every aspect of life. This requires significant reframing of leadership and a greater focus on strategic transformation. These next generation leaders will have to work under and through digital revolution to not only yield fresh efficiencies, but to be instrumental in amplifying human creativity, ingenuity, and judgement. To execute this, next generation managers and leaders need to embrace novice and innovative technological tools to accurately anticipate shifts in the business environment, make their environment, make their organizations agile and address concerns about the future of the workplace. The incorporation of present and future trends shall prove to be very useful for leaders to timely adopt and imbibe new competencies as per the relevance and trend of present and future. This book focuses on latest researched dimensions, perspectives and challenges in relation to technology – leadership relationship . It brings to light useful insights with respect to the theory and practice of leadership using innovative technology in current and future times across different industry thus bringing more clarity to leadership paradigms and the impact of technology .

Objective

The book aims to give practical and application-based knowledge about what and how technologies, models and concepts are most widely impacting the present and what shall be the future trends of leadership landscape and competencies. This book is planned to be published and will have in-depth coverage of relevant theoretical, practical and applied topics demonstrated through practical scenarios and case study methods.

Target Audience

Target Audience shall be the graduates, post-graduates in management and related disciplines, as well as academicians, practitioners, research scholars of management and all other allied disciplines. Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before June 24, 2024, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Full chapters are expected to be submitted by July 22, 2024, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at https://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-anonymized review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.

Note: There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted to this book publication, Leadership Paradigms and the Impact of Technology. All manuscripts are accepted based on a double-anonymized peer review editorial process.
