Introduction

The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies presents a transformative opportunity for the field of education. This book explores how these technologies can be leveraged to foster inclusive education, ensuring equitable learning opportunities for all students, regardless of their physical, cognitive, or socio-economic status. It discusses the integration of AI tools to personalize learning experiences, the use of virtual and augmented reality for immersive learning environments, and the implementation of blockchain for secure and transparent educational records.

Objective

This book will delve into how AI and emerging technologies can be harnessed to overcome barriers in education, offering case studies and theoretical discussions on making quality education accessible and inclusive. It would cover topics like AI-driven personalized learning, virtual classrooms, and technology-enhanced teacher training, aligning with SDG4's goals.

Target Audience

This book presents innovative, useful ideas and directions in 21st century educations. Examples that can be used in training, classrooms, and higher education institutions. It aims to cater to a wide range of readers, including educators, academics, researchers, scholars, instructors, instructional designers, and even students.

Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before June 30, 2024, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by July 14, 2024 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines.Full chapters are expected to be submitted by September 1, 2024, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at https://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-anonymized review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.

Note: There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted to this book publication, Fostering Inclusive Education With AI and Emerging Technologies. All manuscripts are accepted based on a double-anonymized peer review editorial process.
